DT Midstream
LA CCS
DT Midstream is developing a carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project in Louisiana focused on capturing CO₂ emissions from its natural gas treatment facilities and permanently storing them underground in a dedicated sequestration hub in Sabine Parish, with the aim of reducing its own greenhouse gas footprint as part of its strategy to reach net-zero emissions by 2050 and cut Scope 1 emissions by 30 % by 2030. The initiative includes installing capture equipment, building CO₂ pipeline infrastructure, and securing geologic storage rights, with early site characterization (Class V test wells and seismic surveys) completed and progress toward Class VI well permitting, with phased deployment planned and the first phase expected to be operational by the second half of 2026.
