Project Roux is a proposed appraisal test well initiative submitted by ConocoPhillips to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (New Orleans District). Located adjacent to Highway 307 near Bayou Des Allemands in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, the project involves constructing a test well, drill pad, and access road to assess the suitability of underlying geologic formations for permanent CO₂ sequestration. The project has since been cancelled.
