Ramba

Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) is conducting internal studies on the Ramba oil field in South Sumatra to evaluate its potential for a carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) project—specifically through CO₂‑enhanced oil recovery (EOR). These studies are targeted for completion around 2030, with the goal of assessing how CO₂ injection might both store emissions and boost production in this mature oil field.
