Spring Creek South
The Spring Creek South project is a CO₂-EOR development located in the Powder River Basin region of Wyoming, targeting mature conventional reservoirs characterized by heterogeneous sandstone intervals with structural and stratigraphic trapping. Following primary production and waterflooding, operators introduced CO₂ injection to improve sweep efficiency and recover residual oil. Miscible or near-miscible displacement is achieved depending on reservoir pressure conditions. CO₂ is injected via Class II wells and partially recycled during production operations.
