Tinsley

The Tinsley Field is located in Yazoo County, Mississippi, within the Mississippi Interior Salt Basin/Gulf Coast Basin transition. Production occurs primarily from Paluxy and Tuscaloosa sandstone reservoirs, structurally trapped along a salt-related anticline. Discovered in the 1930s, the field underwent primary production and waterflooding before conversion to tertiary recovery using CO₂ injection. CO₂ flooding is conducted through pattern injection with recycling infrastructure, improving sweep efficiency in heterogeneous sandstone intervals.
