NeoCarb

NeoCarbon is a large scale industrial port e fuels production platform located in the Fos sur Mer Industrial Port Zone, designed to supply low carbon fuels for maritime shipping and aviation. At full build out, the project is planned to produce up to 250,000 tonnes per year of e methanol and 75,000 tonnes per year of e kerosene, with an initial development phase targeting 100,000 tonnes per year of e methanol and 50,000 tonnes per year of e kerosene. The site benefits from direct access to port logistics, multimodal transport infrastructure, and the dense industrial ecosystem of the Fos sur Mer and Caban Tonkin industrial platforms. The project will integrate on site low carbon hydrogen production via electrolysis, with an installed electrical connection capacity of approximately 399 MW, powered by renewable and nuclear electricity. Hydrogen supply will also be supported by nearby industrial sources and a future connection to the BARMAR H2MED hydrogen transmission corridor. Marcegaglia will supply CO2 to Elyse.
