NorthStarH2

NorthStarH2 is developed through a partnership-driven approach. By working together Uniper, Jämtkraft and Liquid Wind each contribute with their expertise, strengths, and technologies to the project. As the project owner, global energy company Uniper is committed to accelerating the energy transition. This project plays a crucial role in transforming the transport and chemical sectors, contributing to Sweden’s net-zero goals. Uniper has secured the land and electricity grid connections to enable the project. The utility company Jämtkraft will supply biogenic CO₂ from its cogeneration plant in Lugnvik, a key feedstock for eMethanol production. Liquid Wind has been selected to develop the project, due to its unique expertise in eFuel facility development and will apply its standardised design and digital platform to facilitate efficient replication of the facility.
