Power-to-X Glansager Plant

Nature Energy and Andel have inaugurated a first-of-its-kind commercial Power-to-Gas plant in Glansager (Als, Denmark), where hydrogen produced by Andel from excess wind and solar electricity is biologically converted with CO₂ at Nature Energy’s methanation unit to make e-methane. The plant, built in about a year with an investment of DKK 100 million, will boost Nature Energy’s green gas output by up to 12,000 m³/day, marking a major step for industrial-scale renewable gas production and sector coupling.
