Vanadis Fuels

TotalEren and Aliceco are developing the Vanadis Fuels Project at Kokkola Industrial Park in Finland, a large scale e fuel facility designed to produce up to 400,000 tonnes per year of e methanol starting in 2029. The plant will combine green hydrogen produced from renewable electricity with biogenic CO₂ captured from biomass boilers at Kokkola Energia using Aliceco’s proprietary oxygen combustion capture technology. The project leverages local industrial and port infrastructure at KIP and the Port of Kokkola, with TotalEren supporting renewable power integration, hydrogen production, project development, and financing.
