Midkiff Gas Plant CCS
Targa currently processes natural gas from multiple facilities in the basin—including Johnson, Driver, Legacy, Legacy 2, Midkiff, Pembrook, Pembrook 2, Joyce, Edwards, and Benedum Plants. Gas is collected at a central location before being transported to treatment facilities. All listed plants are capable of sending acid gas to the Driver AGI #1 injection well via pipeline. However, this facility is not currently planning to capture CO₂; instead, Targa has permitted a nearby Class II well for acid gas injection. Additional processing plants may be added in the future, and Targa will report them as they are incorporated.
