Pilot Energy MWCEP Ammonia Project

The MWCEP is a clean ammonia export initiative targeting production of up to 1 million tonnes per year at costs competitive with conventional grey ammonia. The project integrates multiple sub-projects, including third-party carbon management, permanent storage of CO₂ from its own blue hydrogen operations, and the production of clean ammonia from blue hydrogen. It involves redeveloping the brownfield Cliff Head Oil Field, combining existing facilities with new onshore and offshore infrastructure, and leveraging the site’s long operational history to repurpose assets for carbon storage and clean energy production.
