Cameron CCS
Venture Global’s Cameron LNG CCS project centers on the CP2 LNG export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, a multi-billion-dollar development designed to produce at least 20 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for global markets while integrating carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology to reduce its CO₂ emissions footprint by capturing and storing industrial CO2 underground. The project builds on Venture Global’s broader strategy to incorporate CCS across its LNG portfolio, aiming to capture roughly 500,000 + tons of CO2 annually.
