The Draco Class VI permit was submitted by Denbury Carbon Solutions, LLC for the proposed Draco Storage Facility in Allen, Beauregard, and Vernon Parishes, Louisiana. The application sought authorization to develop a commercial-scale geologic carbon storage site designed to permanently sequester anthropogenic CO₂ captured from industrial sources. The Draco Class VI permit was withdrawn in Q4 2025.
